I’m am so fortunate to say that yesterday I played in Toronto, Ontario Canada to a tremendously enthusiastic and kind crowd. This was also my first show out of the united states which makes me even more excited. Toronto has easily become one of my favorite cities. I found myself thinking “I should move here someday” many times. The show was sold out which We were all so pleased to know. The crowd is always so amazing there, you really can’t ask for more. When you play you feel like they truly care about what you’re doing and it makes the experience that much more meaningful and it’s easy to feed off their energy. My favorite part of the set was during my cover of Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah” when the whole crowd sang along during the chorus. It’s an incredible feeling to know no one in a room is familiar with you and your music, but yet you can have such an impact. It’s much of the reason that I do this. So, in other words, thank you Toronto and I hope to see you soon.
